TEGG SERVICES
Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates
|
|
Knights’ Electric, Inc.’s TEGG Services will start their testing with five Kendall-Jackson wineries this year including Skylane Cellars in Santa Rosa, Vinwood Cellars in Geyserville, La Crema in Healdsburg, Kendall-Jackson Oakville in Oakville and Kendall-Jackson Monterey in Soledad. |

Scott Stoner, Director of Risk management for Kendall-Jackson (K-J), had been working with an electrical system testing company that offered only infrared testing. One of the reasons he decided to make the switch to Knights’ Electric TEGG Services is because they offer ultrasound testing along with infrared testing.. |

|
“The heat can dissipate from an electrical panel by the time it is opened and tested with infrared. In that case ultrasound is the answer to get accurate testing”, says Stoner, who has 35 years of experience in the wine industry. |

Stoner has previously worked as a general manager at Asti and been a winemaker at North Coast Cellars, Frutec and Swiss Colony. Stoner has been with Kendall-Jackson for ten years. |

“I’m looking forward to working with Knights’ Electric (TEGG Services) and seeing what they find”, says Stoner, “We’ll be doing the testing during crush when we have full electrical loads on our refrigeration and crush equipment, that’s the best time to test the electrical system.” |

Traverso’s will open their new store in February 2009. Traverso’s is moving from their current location on B Street, just off Courthouse Square in downtown Santa Rosa. Traverso’s, a Santa Rosa landmark deli and specialty food store, have been on B Street since 1973 and in downtown Santa Rosa since 1935. |
Knights’ Electric is in the trim stage for Wells Fargo Bank, which is located on the second floor of the stand-alone corner building. The bottom floor is occupied by P.I.N.K, an upscale women’s clothing store where Knights’ Electric completed T.I. work before they opened last February |

The main structure at Fountaingrove Village is a combination of two commercial buildings with a common wall that will house numerous tenants with Traverso’s as the anchor. Fountaingrove Cleaners, The Loft (hair styling) and Bell Investments are already open for business. Knights’ Electric completed T.I. work for all of these tenants. Richard Freitas, Knights’ Electric’s Project Manager, says there is a possibility that a restaurant and a coffee company may be tenants next door to Traverso’s. |

CarCo Investments is the developer and general contractor for this project. Knights’ Electric has been working there for over a year, first with the electrical infrastructure for the shells and now with tenant improvements as businesses continue to fill up the vacancies. |

Fountaingrove Village should be close to 100% occupancy by the time their main draw, Traverso’s, moves in. In the mean time Knights’ Electric will continue with tenant improvements for the newcomers. |
